TRAINING COURSE APPLICATION

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN ENROLLING IN SOUND VIEW’S BASIC TV PRODUCTION TRAINING COURSE.

To be eligible for training, you must be at least 18 years of age and reside, work, or attend school full-time in Fairfield,

Bridgeport, Stratford Milford, Orange, or Woodbridge. Proof must be provided upon request. Please complete the following

Application and return to Sound View. When your application is l’eceived, your name will be placed on a first come, first-

served waiting list and you will be notified when your name is nears the top of the list to attend the next training course.

Prerequisite: Computer Skills required for all training courses.

Studio Production – is an introductory course that will provide students with basic studio production knowledge. Upon
completion student will be able to operate a three remote camera studio production. Students must produce four (4) programs for cablecast before advancing to Digital Editing training.

Digital Editing – will provide students with a basic understanding of video camera operation and the digital editing process You must complete the Studio Production course, including producing 4 programs for cablecast, before you are admitted to Digital Editing training.

TV STUDIO TECHNICAL PRODUCTION TRAINING

Training

Sound View offers FREE TV studio video technical production training for individuals that reside, work and/or attend school full-time in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Milford, Orange, Stratford, and Woodbridge and are at least 18 years of age.

A minimum of two crew students with basic computer skills are required.

There is no cost for any of the TV studio technical production training courses.

Studio Technical Production

Is an introductory course providing basic TV studio technical concepts for program or show production. Upon completion the crew strudents will be able to operate a three remote camera studio production. The students must produce for cablecast a minimum of four (4) programs or shows.

Digital Editing

Provides students with basic video camera operation and digial editing concepts. Completion of the Studio Technical Production, including the production of four (4) programs or shows for cablecast is required.

Major TV Studio Technical Production

Provides students with a basic operation of multi-cameras, audio, sound, lighting, scripting andteleprompter, roll-ins, and control room roles. A minimum crew of nine (9) students is required for this training.

ONLINE TRAINING COURSE REGISTRATION FORM

Each crew student must complete the registration form below and include the names and addresses and contact information. Classses are coordinated depending upon availability of the TV studio. Upon receipt of the registration form, your crew will be placed on a first-come, first-served wait list, and all crew students will be notified when you near the top of the waitlist to attend the next course.
