A hands-on experience for young adults to develop their own televised program!

About the Program

The Sound Affect is a FREE 8-week interactive TV opportunity for local residents ages 16-24 to engage in a fun and interactive experience where participants will acquire the skills and knowledge to create their own TV program.

Students will learn studio production while working with high-end state-of-the-art equipment. Commitment to the 8 weeks is required. Apply for this fun and engaging experience!

  • Explore the history of television and public broadcasting
  • Learn the fundamentals of creating a storyboard and proper composition, staging for clarity, and pitching an idea.
  • Engage in team-building activities and develop the skills needed for television through hands-on projects.

Then create a brief video, up to 1 minute long, about yourself and why you should be selected for our program. Submit the application and video to asaolu@soundviewtv.org. You will be notified if you have been selected.
