On November 25, 1998, the Connecticut Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) granted management of public, educational, and government community access to cable television for Franchise Area 2 to Sound View Community Media, Inc.
Sound View provides television studio facilities, TV equipment, editing, cable casting, TV studio production technical training, and related services to the franchise subscribers choosing to create their own commercial-free television programs for cablecast on the community access cable TV channels.

Business Hours: Monday thru Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Studio and Edit Suites: By Reservation: Monday thru Friday, 9 AM to 10 PM,
Closed Weekends and Holidays
Cablecast Schedule: 24 hours every day, including weekends and holidays

Cablecasting TV Channels on Optimum: Channels 77, 88, 78 & 79
Cablecasting TV Channel on Frontier TV: Channels 6016, 6017, 6018, 6078, 6079, 6080
